We had a good week. Had a few good lessons with Justine. She's progressing like crazy, it's awesome! Unfortunately I won't be here for the end result but that's not the end of the world. As long as she gets baptized that's all that matters to me! She's a great girl and has come a long ways! We had her go to a baptism that another ward had so she could see what it was like, and she enjoyed it. Apparently she told someone at the baptism that she was getting baptized on March 5th, so she's set on it! Which is great! :)
Brennon and Dean are...well let's just say we are losing more and more contact with them. Apparently we are only allowed contact with them 2 times a week...It's kinda frustrating....
Elder Ullises Soares of the Seventy is coming to our mission this week. So we are having another mission tour! It should be really good! We are having a LOT of meetings this week though. We have back to back MLC's this week. One is for all leadership in the mission, and the other is just for Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders. So we'll see what happens with those. It should be really good!
Parks, one of the boys we live with, had knee surgery this last weekend, and we've been taking care of him. Haha man, when he's on his pain meds he's a hoot!! Haha he's so out of it. He hates the drugs, and I don't blame him, but he's really funny!
Haha, the whole mission finally got all new phones. And we are with AT&T now. We use to be with Sprint, which was better than not having a phone, but honestly our service sucked. And the phones are a little better now. The mission office had to have the Zone Leaders throughout the mission deliver the phones to their zones. So we were telling everyone that we were getting "new electronics," haha, and everyone was like, "WE'RE GETTING IPADS!!!!!" Haha, nope we'll never get those!
Anyways, hope all is well! Love and Miss you all!
Elder Takis
This is a girl that from Brighton that I helped teach. Her name is Karina. Her conversion story is incredible!!! This is at her baptism! Her baptism was a complete miracle! I'll have to tell you about it when I get home. It's too long to tell over emails.
Here is good ol' Braxton Ard! Remember him? We were companions when I first got to Brighton. He's been home now for almost 5 months...It's NUTS! He came back for Karina's baptism. It was a complete surprise to see him there!
This is at the Mexican Cultural Night we had this last weekend. Haha, we look like Goobers!
