I fired back with an incredulous, "Are you guys companions again?!?!?"
Elder Takis replied, "Hahaha yeah we are!!!!!! CRAZY RIGHT?!!!!! WE"RE SO EXCITED!!!!"
The photo is Elder Takis and Elder Sekona at the Arvada Public Library after transfers and finding out that they are companions again. The really cool part is that it was just a year ago that Elder Sekona entered the mission field, with Elder Takis as his trainer, in Parker. Now they are companion Zone Leaders in Arvada, and they were blessed to spend both Christmases of their missions together!
Some of the rest of his email from 12/7:
"We had a super solid week. We found 2 new investigators, Brennon who is 15 years old, and Dean who is 13 years old. They are foster brothers. We found them around 8:30ish on Saturday night. They are super super solid! Brennon is a quiet giant, and Dean asks a zillion and one questions, and a lot of questions about aliens! Haha it's fun to teach them! They both came to church and have started the Book of Mormon!! Man we're excited!! Victoryia is doing well I assume. We haven't been able to meet with her for several weeks due to her school schedule. And the Hmong couple dropped us because of their son. They live with their son and he doesn't want them listening to us. We are going to try by them again soon though."
