Dumped On

Here is a snow cave we built on Tuesday!  ...we we got dumped on with snow! We got like a foot and a half! And due to the wind, in some spots it was like 3-4 feet!!!

So not a lot happened this week...we had a LOT of meetings. We had MLC (Missionary Leadership Council) and interviews with President, and District Meeting, and we were able to go to the temple. So we were really busy with meetings! MLC is every 1st Friday of the month, and it goes all day. It starts at 9am and goes to 4-4:30pm depending on the MLC. But it's ALWAYS amazing! It's just the Zone Leaders, Sister Training Leaders, Assistants to the President, and President and Sister Mendenhall. We get trained on things that the mission lacks in skill wise, and we are supposed to take it back to our zones and train on those things in a Zone Meeting. Which we will have this week on Thursday. We also talk about things as Leadership that we can do to improve the mission logistically and spiritually. And the temple was awesome!! I honestly can say that I like that we changed it to going to the temple quarterly instead of every month. You pay attention more!! Haha I had a lot of questions and insights come up that I haven't before.


The miracle this week was Brennon and Dean coming to church without us reminding them!! Now don't get me wrong, we tried to. They are both grounded, and have had their phones taken away, so we couldn't reach them. And we tried by their house but they weren't home when we tried by! So we were really hoping they would show up and they did!!! YAY!!! Their baptism is supposed to be this weekend and we are hoping it works out. We still have a little to teach in Lesson 4 and we need to teach them all of lesson 5. We were debating on moving their date again, but we decided that this might be a way to get them to jump head first into the rest of the lessons and pump them out so they can be baptized.


We had an awesome lesson with Lisa Saturday night and she was super excited to come to church the next day...but...she never showed up. We had a member go to get her and she never answered her door. So we are hoping everything is ok.
